A 27th Birthday, a Second Showcase — Some Moments Are Meant to Be Shared, Not Announced
On celebration, transition, and a new season at Naiad
This is our first post on Substack.
And it felt right to begin with a celebration 🎉!
It’s not every day that you get to celebrate your 27th birthday alongside the first year of launching Naiad. I’ve always seen the end of the year as the perfect moment to pause and reflect on the year (take away the time where I’m finishing projects and fulfilling the last orders of the year).
It’s a time I naturally look back on what’s been built, think about what worked, and set intentions for the year ahead. It also helps that this moment coincides with my birthday and Christmas. Somehow, it stops me from being overly critical and reminds me to celebrate the wins, both big and small. In that sense, I’d definitely consider myself lucky.
This showcase was very meaningful for Naiad. We revisited existing pieces from past collections, celebrating how far they — and we — have come, while also offering a preview of what’s next. In many ways, the evening marked the beginning of something new.
The rebrand we’ve been working on behind the scenes since October truly began here. It wasn’t just a shift in mindset, growth, or direction, but something tangible. New visuals, a new colour palette, and our new packaging made their first appearance — small details that signal the beginning of a new chapter.

We also shared a preview of our new collection, something we’ve been working on quietly since the summer. It felt important to introduce it this way first, in a setting that matched the pace and intention behind the designs. That evening, we even hand delivered a small private preorder to a few close ones who believed in Naiad’s vision early on (thank you, Noel 🥹).
If you’re reading this here, this is your first look. The collection is called La Luna, and it centres around the magic of moonstones. We’ve been working with custom cut shapes in both blue and rainbow moonstones, drawn to how they shift, glow, and slowly reveal themselves in different light.
La Luna will officially launch at the end of January 2026, alongside the relaunch of our website. There’s more to come, but it felt right to share this here first
We also shared a few exciting developments planned for the future. Nothing we’re ready to announce just yet, but there are hints scattered throughout the images below if you know where to look. 👀
A birthday, a showcase, a celebration, the beginning of Notes from Naiad, and the start of Naiad’s journey into 2026 — all coming together in one moment. A chance to reflect on what’s been built so far, and to welcome what’s coming next.
I’m really grateful to be able to share it this way, and even more grateful that you’re here to read along.
xoxo,
Katerina — Naiad
